What You Can Do Here
The Design Collection is unlike most museums as it has no "public" space and visitors come straight into the store. The collection is housed in rolling racks and for health and safety reasons visitor numbers are restricted. It is advisable to book an appointment (generally an hour) as it is a busy working resource and time and space are a premium.
The collection may be used for drawing, photographing or for borrowing. Most of the collection is accessible and there is space for research within the store. Pencils must be used for writing and no food or drink is permitted in the main room (there is a coffee shop along the corridor).
